I'm sorry if my title gives the plot away for those of you who haven't seen the episode yet. I'll bet it would be equally good knowing the final outcome.

Though this was not one of my favorite episodes of Scrubs, the script still had its admirable qualities. First, it's good to see Barbie sticking up for herself, even though in the fictional world her doormat qualities are entertaining. Also, I find it impressive that not much was said about the realities of being a female surgeon. The idea was introduced and promptly dropped, and I'd like to think that's because the writers acknowledge the the audience's ability to understand for themselves its implications. I, for one, was able to make the connection between Bonnie's position in the hospital and her behavior towards the other surgeons. To me, the most significant part of this episode was that it took for granted the potential insight of the audience. And since I've already established that this series must have been designed with me in mind, the assumption of insight must have been indeed the best part of the episode.
