bad guy's toe

It's nice to see a character so different than me say something I might say. Does that mean even though the characters of Scrubs are diverse, the show's audience is specifically people like me? I choose to believe it means the same writers wrote lines for all the characters, which would be harder to refute. It would also explain why I feel such an affinity with the show and its writers and actors. The lines and the humor in them seem built to my specifications. For no apparent reason, Scrubs is like my child: it can do no wrong in my eyes.

This episode seems to have been about Dr. Cox and his charming issues. One of the most interesting aspects of his character is that he has very little understanding of himself, frequently guessing out loud at his wishes and motivations. At some point, nearly every character has told him how he actually feels about something. I can't even begin to guess at the reasons behind his and Jordan's strange relationship, but I'd like to see further attempted explanations in the future.

p.s. Yet another occurence of self-conscious use of music. And I appreciated the reintroduction of the barbershop quartet.
