slow down and make less mistakes

Both Roz and Kenny grew up a little after of the appearance of Roz's cousin in this episode. Roz's reasons were more straightforward - her contrast with the younger cousin allowed Roz to appreciate who she was. Kenny's hurried portion of the plot was based on the fact that disappointment after committing to something or someone new can make people happier about what they already have. Very true.

For some reason, Kenny's reason for not unpacking his office, though not previously referred to in the series that I know of, did not seem to be custom-built for this episode's advancement, instead merely allowing a bit of insight into Kenny's character. Likewise, Roz's final speech fit perfectly in the formula of the episode. And no matter how predictable the ending scene was, it was still touching to behold.
